Online Exhibition

  1. The overall layout of the website is nice. (I think it would have been nice to have titled the website something that encompasses all the works rather than tell the name of the class.) I do like how you show an image of the artist for each tab. Your theme of abandonment comes out very well in the images individually and as a whole. I’m glad you talked about the separate categories of abandonment and which artists signify each category.

  2. I enjoyed how you placed and image of the artist on each page. It kept each different page unique and in-tune to what it is specifically about. I think you did a great job explaining you project and the two different kinds of abandonment. By separating these two, along with the artists who inspire you make your project all that more clear to the audience.

  3. Your exhibition was very well thought out and organized so that each art piece combines well with each other. I liked that you added the artist in the top image because it adds a nice connection for the viewer. Your title of your exhibition really grabs the viewers attention and leads nicely into your curator statement. You describe your subject well and introduce the images that will be seen in a non-detailed but necessary way.

  4. Once again Kim, you did a a great job. I really appreciated your layout, choice of artists, and curator statement. Your design sensibility is excellent; the use of repetition to fill negative space is very successful and supplies the necessary continuity, to each page, that makes the exhibition fluid when viewed on the internet. The title and chosen art works come together very well to convey the idea of abandonment.
